The Arquati Solarpro drop arm awnings provide as much or as little sun prtection as you desire. Ideal for small and large window and balcony applitcations, these systems can be motorized or hand-cranked. 

Lateral arm retractable awnings are available in widths up to 40ft. and projections up to 17ft. From the entry level BQX medel all the way to the top of the line V8, Arquati from Windows West can transform your patio into a comfortable outdoor living area.

Originally developed for the bullet trains in Japan, the SHY ZIP tracking system is a proven method of locking a vast array of fabrics into the side track. Just like on bullet trains, it is necessary for exterior shades for homes and businesses to be as stable as possible, minimizing excessive movement of the fabric due to wind and other outdoor elements. Use this system in conjunction with our SCREENLIGHT shading systems to create the most innovative solution for solar, noise, and insect intrusion control.

Even with excessive pressure applied directly to the fabric, it remains tightly locked into the side tracks for superior fabric stability. The shock absorbers placed between the PVC channel and the inside edge of the aluminum track keep most of the tension off the zipper and mantain the bottom bar level.
