    The battery motorized Cellular West shades are powered by Somfy's CT32-RT motor. This motor is uniquely designed to motorize pleated and cellular shades. Featuring built-in Radio Technology Somfy™ (RTS), the CT32-RT motor eliminates the need for unsightly receivers making installations clean and effortless.

    Automated shades are the perfect solution for those hard to reach windows above a bathtub, behind furniture or in a two-story foyer. At the touch of a button raise and lower the shade or adjust to a favorite position.  

System Facts:

Home Automation Integration:  Built-in Radio Technology Somfy™ (RTS) allows for simple integration with 3rd party home automation systems using Somfy's controls.

Radio Technology Somfy™ (RTS) Compatible: Control individual window coverings or individual groups of window coverings with Somfy's full range of RTS accessories.

Advanced Electronic Limit Stops: Allows for programming a favorite or preferred intermediate position. 

Concealed System: Motor hidden inside headrail with battery wand mounted behind headrail.  

System Notes:

  • Plug-In transformer recommended for shades larger than 60" X 60".
  • Single or double battery packs available.
  • Batteries are not covered under warranty.

RTS Battery Cellular Programming Instructions
 
*Programming Note: When establishing upper limit settings for cellular shades try to avoid tightly compressing the shade fabric and the bottomrail against the headrail. Tightly compressed fabric and bottomrail can cause the motor to "over-torque" a safety feature which will temporarily disable the motor/shade for several minutes. In severe cases the motor may have to be removed and reinserted to allow excessive tension to be released. 
 
 
Motorized Skylight Shading System
 
    The battery motorized cellular skylight is great for those hard to reach skylight windows. The motorized skylight is powered by the Somfy CT32-RT motor. This shading system is available with all the great benefits which  are available on the Cellular West motorized shades.

  • Minimum Width: 20"
  • Maximum Width: 54"
  • Maximum Length: 96"
  • Available in 3/8" Double Cell Solids and room Darkening, as will in the 3/4" Solids and Blackout.
  • Mounting on angle or flat ceiling recommended.
  • On shades greater than 24" X 40" double battery packs are recommended.
  • On shades greater than 54" x 60" plug-in transformers are recommended.
  • Batteries are not covered under warranty.
